SEM 1 MW 15:30 - 16:45 Laurie Radford Notes: Process in Music/Music as Process. The course will explore the concept of process in music with an emphasis on procedural strategies employed by composers at the end of the 20th century and early 21st centuries. Analysis and study of representative pieces of music will be undertaken during the course as well as several compositional etudes that demonstrate some of the processes and compositional methods and strategies under consideration.
