LEC 1 F 09:00 - 11:50 Friedemann Sallis Outline Notes: The purpose of this course is to examine the music of Igor Stravinsky and the various contexts within which it was both produced and received (St. Petersburg, Paris, Western Europe, North America, etc.). Particular attention will be given to the identity of both the composer and his music, and how this changed as he moved from place to place.
