Co-created and performed by students from the Divisions of Dance, Drama and Music, Conduct is a hybrid performance/event inspired by the enigmatic life and work of Henry Cowell, one of the most influential American composers of the 20th Century.

Based on the extensive research of Jeremy Brown of the SCPA’s Music Division, this Drama Division production incorporates theatre, music, dance, and intermedia to explore themes of innovation and eccentricity, morality and prejudice, sexuality and identity, and creativity in captivity.

Ten faculty members and over 60 students from all three SCPA disciplines collaborate on a feast for the imagination and the senses.
