Lindsay Phillips, a native Calgarian, began her vocal training at the age of nine. For ten years she dappled with various genres including jazz, musical theatre and classical music under the instruction of her teacher, Jacqueline Allen. During this time she was a performer at the Calgary Stampede, and sang the national anthem for SAIT Polytechnic. In high school she was part of the musical theatre program, the vocal jazz ensemble, and the concert and show choir. Deciding to pursue music more thoroughly, she entered the music program at the University of Calgary. She is now currently in her third year of music performance, studying under Donald Bell. She is an active music student, performing with the University of Calgary Chorus and Collegium Musicum Ensemble. Outside of school she is a private music teacher at a local music studio.
