Junior Recital Kelsey Noble - flute

Kelsey Noble began her musical studies at the age of five when she began taking piano lessons.  She switched to flute at the age of thirteen and began studying with Rosalyn Harms. Kelsey is now in her third year of music performance, studying with Gwen Klassen. She was most recently involved in the production of Aesop’s Fables at the University of Calgary. She has also performed with the University of Calgary Wind Ensemble for the past two years and just recently joined the University of Calgary New Music Ensemble. She held the position of Concert Master for the University of Calgary Symphonic Band for the 2012/2013 semester and was the flute section leader from September 2011 to April 2013. Throughout Kelsey’s University career she has had the opportunity to play for flutist Lorna McGhee in master classes as well as local artists such as Mary Sullivan, Sarah Hahn and Sara Geick.
