March 24, 2015 at 6:30 p.m.

This event is FREE and open to the public.

Jennifer Humphries-Micallef is a budding second year voice student at the University of Calgary studying with Patricia Hrynkiw.  As a recipient of the Jane S. Jamison Bursary for Fine Arts from the University of Calgary, Jennifer has performed in masterclass for Ben Heppner and was featured as a début singer in Calgary’s VoiceScapes production of the Messiah in 2011 and 2012.  Jennifer also finds great satisfaction participating in choir: soprano in the 2014 National Youth Choir of Canada and three years participating in the Alberta Youth Choir 2010-2012.  Her career started at an early age, inspired by the music of her church.  She continues to use her voice primarily for worship and hopes to continue teaching voice for her remaining years at university.  In addition to her passion for music, Jennifer is also very interested in biology and is pursuing a biological science degree leading to a doctorate of dental surgery.
